Jullie GrayJullie Gray is a principal at Aging Wisdom, a care management and consulting practice serving the Seattle Metro area. She serves as Board President of the National Academy of Certified Care Managers and is Past Board President of the Aging Life Care Association. Jullie received a Masters of Social Work and Certificate in Geriatric Mental Health from the University of Washington. Her three decades of experience serving older adults in diverse healthcare settings make Jullie an industry leader and one of only two people in Washington to be named a Fellow Certified Care Manager.

Anita Meyer, MDAnita Meyer, MD, is Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and serves as the Medical Director of Hospice of the Northwest. Dr. Meyer graduated from the UCLA Medical School and completed her Family Medicine residency at Tacoma Family Medicine. After serving as a family physician for 15 years, where she enjoyed helping people with the transitions of pregnancy, birth, pediatrics, adolescence, menopause, and end of life care, Dr. Meyer directed the Skagit Valley Hospital Palliative Care Program. Her warm personal presence, generosity, and calling to serve have made Dr. Meyer a leader in Hospice and Palliative Care, both for patients and fellow clinicians. She is one of those rare individuals who is as skilled in the art of compassionate communication as she is in the art of medicine.

Amber Ford, LCSW, Ed.DAmber Ford, LCSW, Ed.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor of Field Education with the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work based in Los Angeles, where she teaches graduate courses in field practicum and Older Adult curriculum areas. She is also responsible for the coordination of evidenced-based intervention training for Family Nurse Practitioner (Master of Science in Nursing) students through the Nursing@USC program.
Amber earned her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership through the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education and Master of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University. Amber has professional experience across medical social work settings and is passionate about serving individuals and families facing chronic or life-limiting illness or injury. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California and is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute. Prior to her work in higher education, Amber worked extensively in outpatient oncology, where she provided direct services to patients and their families, facilitated multiple support groups, and led program development initiatives. She implemented the Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery program for children affected by loved ones with cancer. As a recipient of a competitive grant from the LIVESTRONG Foundation, she also implemented the Cancer Transitions: Moving Beyond Treatment program. |

Since retiring from high jump, where she was a four-time All-American and three-time captain of the University of Michigan’s Women’s Track Team, Monika has earned two Masters degrees from Ohio State University and a Ph.D. in Community Psychology from DePaul University, worked as an executive at one of the country’s top-rated hospital systems, and launched two businesses and a non-profit. Monika has founded three businesses, including TandemSpring, a management consultancy that assists startups, established companies, and nonprofits with program design and development, strategy and operating plans, and coaching; DyMynd, a boutique enterprise focused on helping financial institutions forge stronger relationships with female clients; and LCL – Beautiful Faces, a 501c3 that creates and promotes programs to empower girls and women from the inside out. |

George DraffanGeorge Draffan is Executive Director of the Northwest Dharma Association where he facilitates the growth and interconnection of interfaith and multifaith communities. He has been a student of Buddhism and Taoism since the 1970s, studying with Geshe Llundhup Sopa, Ken McLeod, Michael Conklin, Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, Rodney Smith, Ajahn Amaro, and Robert Joshin Althouse.
